Programs & Policy Advocacy

Providing technical support and coaching to launch, sustain and grow programs, initiatives, and policies for racial equity and justice. Direct, hands-on support for organizations — e.g. designing programs and advocacy campaigns, building strategic partnerships, forming a policy agenda, and hiring and coaching the impact team.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)

Juontel believes that systemic racial equity must be reflected within organizations. She facilitates workshops and DEI coaching for teams and organizations leading racial equity-centered initiatives. With compassion for this serious and necessary work, Juontel supports organizations’ internal capacity to advance DEI.

Research Services

Juontel is a scholar of race, politics, and systemic social change. Her research and teaching focuses on the nexus of racial politics, equitable policymaking, and popular education in schools and media. She lends her research expertise to develop reports, issue briefs, and policy analysis.
